Why need donations?
For the next few years, we especially need support towards the following projects:
*Setting up a library with an excellent collection of Buddhism and Classical Indian philosophy books in English, Hindi, Tibetan, South Korean, Thailand and Cambodian languages books.
*Providing scholarship (free board and lodging in our Institute) for people who have deep interest in studying and practicing Dharma but do not have the resources to do so, especially young people from the Himalayan regions and other states of India as well as other countries.
*Hosting conferences, seminars and interfaith dialogues between different schools of Buddhism, other Indian philosophical traditions and modern science.
“LBWFB making a replica of “Ashoka Pillar” with 80 feet (approx) height, at village Lal nagar (Uttar deeh) development block Balrampur District Balrampur (Uttar Pradesh) India, on way of Buddha circuit.
The foundation stone with Monks from various greatest Buddhist pilgrimage sites along with the sacred “Raj Kalash”gathered at the construction site of the proposed 80 feet height Ashoka Pillar.
This one will be replica of the piller already established as The Lion Capital erected by the Mauryan emperor Ashoka in Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh India, c. 250 BCE.
The said pillar will be the witness of peace, education, unity, integrity and equality in future and the earth once again feel grateful to see the golden age of Buddha.”
